Marin County. 45 minutes from Berkeley's MLK and Russell Streets.

Hot and sultry jazz vocalist Pamela Joy will perform jazz standards with her band, The Jazz Posse. She sings at jazz venues in San Francisco, Marin and the East Bay. The San Francisco Bay Area Cabaret Competition finalist draws frequent comparisons to Peggy Lee Peggy Lee, Anita O'Day, Julie London, Astrud Gilberto and June Christy.
Pamela will be backed by a group of beloved Bay Area jazz musicians including her longtime collaborator Paul Kagawa on guitar, and multi-instrumentalist, composer and music educator Kevin Gerzevitz on keyboard. The band will be joined by guest artist Jeff Silberman, leader and founder of the Marin combo The Jazztet, on saxophone.

The Clear View Project, founded by long-time Buddhist activist and Zen priest Alan Senauke, provides Buddhist-based resources for international relief and social change.
Recently, Clear View Project, a tax-exempt affiliate of Buddhist Peace Fellowship, has taken responsibility for BPF's Burma Project, working with Buddhist communities around the U.S. educating and organizing nonviolent action to support the people of Burma. Since last October, lead-organizer Margaret Howe has kept the banner of Burmese liberation clearly in the sights of western Buddhists.
The Clearview Project needs to raise $10,000 to support Burma organizing work through the end of the year. www.clearviewproject.org
